Pristop temelji na predpostavki, da na\u0161e misli pomembno vplivajo na na\u0161a \u010dustva in vedenje. Pri depresivnih stanjih so te misli pogosto negativne in nerealisti\u010dne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eden prvih korakov je prepoznavanje avtomatskih negativnih misli, ki se pojavljajo pri depresivnih stanjih. Te misli so pogosto povezane z ob\u010dutki brezupa, manjvrednosti in pesimisti\u010dnim pogledom na prihodnost. Svetovalec nam pomaga te misli identificirati in jih postopoma za\u010deti spreminjati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KV modaliteta nas u\u010di, kako lahko aktivno vplivamo na svoje razpolo\u017eenje z na\u010drtovanjem aktivnosti. \u010ceprav se nam med depresivnimi stanji pogosto ne da ni\u010desar po\u010deti, nam postopno pove\u010devanje aktivnosti lahko pomaga prebiti za\u010darani krog. Pomaga nam razviti bolj u\u010dinkovite strategije za spopadanje z vsakdanjimi izzivi. Nau\u010dimo se tudi, kako pomembni so socialni stiki in kako lahko izbolj\u0161amo komunikacijo z drugimi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raziskave ka\u017eejo, da je KV pristop pri zdravljenju depresije enako u\u010dinkovita kot antidepresivi, v nekaterih primerih pa celo u\u010dinkovitej\u0161a. Klju\u010dno je, da se nau\u010dene tehnike uporabljajo redno in da vztrajamo pri spremembah, tudi ko se po\u010dutimo bolje.
